TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Japanese for more than 20 years. I have a number of teaching kits published and have presentend at the State Japanese Teacher's Conference on a number of occasions.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I aim to make learning Japanese FUN so include many songs, games and activities. I am keenly interested in Brain Research and how this can be applied to language learning. I use an IWB and have been exploring the use of iPod Touch and iPads in classes along with various web 2.0 applications.

Whilst this year I am teaching from Prep to Year 6 at the Primary level, in the past I have taught from Kindergarten to Year 12.
