These visual representations of geographic vocabulary are just what I was looking for! Teaching vocabulary is one of the toughest parts of my job, and these clues to help the students remember the words we are learning are great. Since there has been more of a push toward human geography rather than physical geography, I preferred the second half of the words to the first half. Words like urban, rural, arable, and fossil fuels are just the types of words my students have trouble remembering. I can't wait to use these in class! I'm going to show them to the students, have them copy the drawings into their notebooks, and then hopefully transition into having the students come up with their own drawings for new words. I'm sure they're love it!

This woke up my sleepy first hour- thanks! I had them write down on mini whiteboards the different body parts they saw for each slide, and sometimes I had them write the body parts that were in the wrong place. Thanks for the fun approach to this topic.

This activity definitely got the students attention! Much more interesting and motivating than the usual drills. I used it as a wrap up after the class had done an activity where they read a description of a monster and had to draw it. I transitioned saying now we would look at some real life monsters. They loved it!

My Middle School students were MESMERIZED! They loved it... They couldn't wait to see what the next weird picture would be. I would agree that it is better suited for an older group of students as some of the pics are very CREEPY/WEIRD. Excellent product!!!!

Heavy on the Presidency, a little light on the rest of the Executive Branch. Appealing and interesting. Might be improved by adding more about the substantive jobs of the President; the current configuration might unfairly weight the availability of exercise, entertainment and transportation "perks" of the Presidency, compared to the work load. More can be added as well about the cabinet as well as the Executive Office of the President, the CEQ, and the stunning cumulative size of the Executive branch (both in number of employees and geography and square footage. Just a few thoughts. Overall, a good product well worth the price.

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. Here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.
Add a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Make sure you have at least two thumbnails for your product so buyers get an idea of what they are purchasing. I thought your preview was excellent.
You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do? Why? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page/slide. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages/slides.
It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.
