TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 7th year of teaching. I have also worked since 1994 as a retail supervisor, which has given me a great deal of educational experience. I tutor a portion of my employees who are in college (free of charge). I left retail in 2010. I now work part time as a Senior Psychiatric Technician for Memorial Behavioral Health.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use technology as often as I can. When I show a video, I prefer to cut it up into clips, and have questions in between clips.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

STAR Discovery Educator Nominated for LBHS teacher of the year 2009-2010, I was the only nominee without 20+ years experience and lost to a retiree, so I can handle that.
