This is an awesome product to use with high school students studying the Inferno. I used it not only in AP Literature, but also referenced it when teaching other courses. The explanations were very easy for my seniors to understand.

The first section is 25 questions in which students identify if the event occured in the BOOK or MOVIE.
The second is 6 basic comprehension questions.
Only really useful if you have taught both film and text (which I haven't, so I am a bit disappointed)

I agree totally with previous commenter. I am using Star Wars to talk about archetypes and Jeannine has done a fantastic job of breaking down all elements of the film and fitting them into archetypal situations, characters, and symbols. It saved me a ton of time. Yeah!!!!

I would use this document as the key -- and delete the "examples provided" for the student copy. The students could fill it in as they view the film. Very practical.

I purchased and downloaded your presentation on archetypes and Carl Jung. It is lovely... however, upon opening it, I received a message in PowerPoint stating that "some of the text, images or objects on the slides cannot be displayed because they have become corrupted. Affected slides will be replaced by blank slides as the lost information cannot be recovered." There are 15 slides in all. Slide #5 is completely blank, and it appears that some of the other slides are missing information. I have downloaded it twice with the same result and I am very disappointed. Could you e-mail me a fully intact copy of your presentation? I would be most appreciative. Thank you, Mary Foust

No...lol, I guess when I was teaching that unit I had seen the movie so many times I could answer the questions in my sleep...and it has been ten years since I taught it so I don't have an answer key :( Sorry!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for eleven years in the same school district and I have taught honors classes for the last six years.
MY TEACHING STYLE
With my high level honors students I use the Socratic method, as well as project based learning. I tend to integrate quite a bit of technology into my lessons. I like to make my handouts fun by adding some elements of humor. It tends to wake them up!
