Many good files, but I wish I could have seen more than 1 of them on the preview. I was hoping for more basic exponential functions to graph and notes for them. Keys would have been a definite plus too.

This was perfect for my enrichment class. We did discover some different weights in the 5 gallon bucket of golf balls that a co-worker donated, so I guess that's something you would have to really be careful with unless you treated it more like a scatter plot.

Good evening! Sorry about that- here are the directions for each:
Around the world: Cut each page along the solid line. Hang the pages in random order around the room. (Sometimes I let first period kiddos hang a page where they wanted to around the room and they thought it was fun to put them in weird places!). Then kids would start at any page they wanted. They work out the problem on the top and then find their answer on another page around the room. They then work the problem on the top of the new page they just found and continue until they make it back to where they started. If they don't find their answer then they know they made a mistake.
Comparing Banks: I hung each 'bank' page around the room. (If you have a big class, hang 2 or 3 copies of each bank so the students aren't crowded around one page). Then students walk to each bank and use their worksheet as place to calculate which bank will give them the most money with their raffle winnings.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! This set of activities has a little of both. Some are lab style that have the students take measurements or gather data. Some are activities that the data is given to them and they build the table, equation, and extrapolate info. One or two are games, there is a small activity using the internet, two use CBLs, etc. None are plain worksheets that are just a bunch of practice problems. Hope that helps!
