I am a student who is in her senior year at Purdue. I have done numerous field experiences and taught lessons in a variety of different grades. I tend to enjoy K-3 the most though.
I am a big fan of centers/workstations and differentiated learning. I also love integrated learning and multidisciplinary lessons. Finally, I strive to include all of the multiple intelligences in my lessons. We all learn differently, so I believe as teachers we should cater to that.
I have received the Dean's Honor List and the Chancellor's Award each year. I have also been a public speaker at two national conferences for education.
Started off in Catholic private college but couldn't afford the tuition, so now I am finishing off my degree through Purdue. It is a rigorous program but worth every minute.
From Texas but now I'm an Indiana gal.
