I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. GO VOLS! I am also in the process of obtaining my Reading Specialists degree.

I knew from a very young age that I wanted to become a teacher. Growing up, my parents continuously told me, "Find a job you love and you'll never work another day in your life". For me, teaching is the profession where I can live by that saying everyday. There is truly no better job than one that greets you at your door each morning with hugs and smiling faces. Having an impact on a child's life and instilling in them a love of learning is what I was set out to do. I believe that ALL children can learn and I and will make every effort to ensure the success of your child on a daily basis. I will update our classroom website weekly, so please be sure to stay up-to-date with the latest news and events that are happening in Kindergarten!
