I checked out your blog --- ipadsinlearning.blogspot.com. It was GREAT!!! Curious how you made your app center choice cards. Could you share how or share the ones you made???

Thank you!

I made the app choice cards with Publisher.

My student iPads are identical in organization, layout, and content (ex: the initial "page" on every iPad is the "math content" page- on the page are "folders" titled with a "concept" (ex: "place value") or "topic" (ex: "count and #'s") and are in the identical order in the page on each iPad- in the "folders" are corresponding apps (ex: in "count and #'s" some of the apps included are "Line 'Em Up", "Quick Images", "Count Sort"...) and are in the identical order within the folder on each iPad ...so the students can quickly and easily access apps.

I created a rectangular outline for each "app choice card" (3 per page in landscape view) and create the cards as apps are downloaded onto the iPads and organized. (I created a spreadsheet that correlates to the organization and content of the student iPads and add newly downloaded apps for a reference of the apps on the student iPads and the location of the apps- noting the "page", "folder", and app name.)

Each app choice card has 1. a color-filled "box" titled with the correlating "folder" 2. the name of the "app" within the folder 3. the app icon (that I located through searching in Google images).

Jennifer - I would be willing to pay $10.00 for this product if it would be worth your while. Let me know if it's contingent on other viewers or if you might be able to pursue this on 2nd grade Common Core. Thanks! nt

Hi:)

I might be able to... I am trying to get my National Board Certification this year and just received my portfolio box.

Honestly... to complete it before this summer will be contingent on the time requirements of completing my portfolio. I wish I could give you a definite response- but until I start my portfolio entries... I am not sure when and how much time I could on it?

Hi:)

I was not planning to- but if there is interest... I could. :)

I teach first grant and wrote and received a grant for a half-class set of iPads (if interested in ideas to implement iPads in the classroom- the blog is
ipadsinlearning.blogspot.com) and originally created the correlation of apps to the first grade Common Core for my personal use.

There are many apps that correlate to the 2nd grade Common Core as many can be "customized" or include the capability to choose levels of difficulty.

I appreciate your thoughts!
