My kiddos work on this as a reward when they have finished their other work. I am an ESOL teacher so it gives them an opportunity to learn more about their new country without getting lost...specific items they are looking for and can compare states from different parts of the US.

I used this with some other items I purchased from TpT and it has been a good unit for reviewing states. Each student studied a state and then we compiled the information for everyone.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I began teaching in 2009. I have amazing kiddos in a special education resource/self-contained combo class.

My most recent honor came when one of my SPED students did so well on a math placement test he was moved to a regular education class. Yay!
