Thank you, Jennifer!! I was just starting to work on something like this and thought I would check TPT first! It was fun to see Little Rock under your name. My brother is on staff with Family Life! Have a great day!
A great activity to teach the scientific method. Very nice work. I will use this in my class. I am new to this TeacherspayTeachers and am now following you. If you have any tips or advice for me that would be great. you can visit me at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Geis19 if you wish. Thanks.

This was good with my students. Wish I had more. Thanks! Wish I could find a whole packet on Smart Board activities to go with each story in Journeys for 4th!

Vocabulary/Selection Test & Spelling ~ I've noticed that these are all separate do you sell all of them in units or a bundle? I purchased a few of them and they are perfect for my students with the lessons that I've incorporated. Thanks!
- Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Grade 4 Lesson 11 Vocabulary Practice: It states to cut out vocabulary from the other sheet: did I not order something. Also, this series is new for me so how many days do you teach a lesson? Our series says 5 and I feel I'm not able to do it in 5 days. Do you have a guide or time frame for each lesson?
I really like the lessons (Journeys that are 15.00-I'm excited to see how they work and then order all the rest of them) Great Job!
Do you have access to the ThinkCentral website (it has the Reading series on it)? If so, they have all the vocabulary words on printable sheets.
And I usually spend 5 days on each Lesson. That's about 1.5 - 2 hours a day on it and I NEVER get to everything! I just have to pick and choose based on what my district tells me and based on my students' needs. If you want to talk more about it, send me your email address and we can coorespond! =)

Hi Jennifer,
I have purchased and printed 25 of your Daily Language Reviews for Grade 4 and I see you had to take them down- BOO! Is is possible to get the rest of them from you privately. I hate to have an incomplete set and the kids totally miss doing them as part of their morning routine. Thank you for your great work. Angie akwitham72@yahoo.com
Unfortunately I don't have them up anymore. Even Moor asked me to take them down! =(

Do you have a package price for weekly planning and all inclusive activities for the whole series of Journeys HMH grade 4 (incl: Winn Dixie, Tia Lola, Stormalong, etc.) We just started using it this year as a pilot, and it is pretty complicated to roll out!
Thanks
LindaSofia
I don't have a package price for the series. It was easier to just upload them separately. But that's not a bad idea! I might look into that this summer when I've got some time on my hands!

familyhines re: Daily Language Review Week 11 Test - Grade 4
Hi Jennifer,
Do you have a bundle where I can just buy all the week's reviews? I keep forgetting which weeks I have bought and thought it would be easier if I could just buy all the weeks in a packet.
Thank you for your purchases! I don't have a bundle where they can all be purchased together, unfortunately. But I bet you can look at your dashboard to see which ones you've purchased!
Whenever you print from the adobe file it breaks apart the words. Do you have any suggestions on how to print so that the document can be used? I tried suggestions that were recommended and all the other adobe files I have purchased from TPT have printed correctly.
Thank you for your purchase! I'm not entirely sure how to solve something like this! It appears as one page on my computers and the formatting is all correct as well. I wish I could help!

Hi thank you for the quick response. I purchased your product and love it but I have a couple of questions. On the Overview it doesn't show the Read-aloud or the Build background. Is this on another proudct? Do you have a Day to Day planner that shows this information? Thank you again!
That's a great question. I don't have anything that includes the Read-Aloud or the Build Background information. And I don't have anything that contains the day to day. I was actually in the process of doing that when I got moved to a new grade level! I wish I did.
We just got Journeys (without the teacher's guide-backordered or school access to the site e-edition). How is this different or better than what they provide in (from what I can see) the teacher's guides? Thanks you so much!
Thank you for looking! I have complied all the information that they provided into one file. So instead of flipping through the teacher's edition for all the information, it's all in front of you on one page. And if you're like me and type your lesson plans, you can copy & paste the necessary components into your plans. It saves a lot of time!
Thank you for your message! We no longer use that series so I'm answering from memory-- houghton mifflin provided a weekly test, but it was only a few questions long. The ones I've created were to test my students' knowledge of the vocabulary and their comprehension of the selection all in one test. I created these tests because I didn't care for the ones houghton mifflin sent.

I'm new to Fourth grade. I am reading Akiak and My Grandfather's Journey....where are those?
K. Hall
Hi there! Welcome to 4th grade! I hope you're enjoying it so far ;o) Houghton Mifflin has several series of Reading textbooks published. The series that has Akiak and My Grandfather's Journey is the one released prior to the one I use. I used that series though!
UPDATE: I uploaded some of the tests that I made.

Jennifer sorry to be a pest but I couldn't find the rest of the study guides ( I think I asked about vocab in my other question) for stories 3-25 - are those available anywhere? They are the sheets that staart out with a list of the vocab, then the reading selection, target skill amd strategy for each story). I love the first two for Winn Dixie and for My Brother Martin and those are the only 2 I could find on your site.
Hi! You're not a pest! =) I know what you're talking about. I was in the process of updating those this summer until I got moved! So over the next few days I'll add them all up there. My original study sheet only had the main selection listed at the bottom. I wanted to go back this summer and add the paired selection. I think I got to lesson 7. So anyway, I'm going to update them and add them as I get them done. ;o)
I would love to get your study sheets for each of the stories! Could you tell me where I could get them. I think they are great and I would love to send them home each week as well.
Thank you!
Is there a chance I could get the rest of the vocabulary lessons for each 4th grade story that you did. I think they are a great review and a neat thing to send home each week. My home e-mail is brgoody@mchsi.com. Thank you.
Are all the things you created for Journeys on this site? I am just unpacking all my new materials and feel a bit overwhelmed!
Hi! Thanks for looking at my product! If you click on my name, I believe it'll list all the products I'm selling. I do have some Spelling activities for the reading series and I have the other cut and paste as well. I think I started after the first nine weeks so I may not have some weeks. Everything I've got I have for sale on this site. =)
I don't blame you for feeling overwhelmed. I was moved to third grade this year and now I have to start over!
