francooper1 re: Bird Beak Lab - Adaptations
Hi Jennifer,
On the first sheet what do the images of the "head" and "hand" represent?
On the second sheet, do students need to name a particular bird?
Thanks,
Fran

Fran,
I uploaded this sheet not even realizing I had created it for a group of Deaf kiddos that use sign language ;P You are the first person to ask what those images are! I need to clarify in my description! Thanks for pointing it out! The head is a man signing "bug" and the hand is the sign for "fish". On the second sheet my intention was that they would look at the beak and then decide if it was like the clothes pin, coffee stirrer, tweezers or spoon. They'd try to then decide what food it would best eat ... and then try it out using the lab.
If you need more info, please message me back! Thanks!!!
Jennifer
