Thanks for the clarification. My colleague used JUVI as a way to describe them: J (conduJe, traJe, diJe), U (sUpe, pUde, pUse), V (anduVe, tuVe, estuVe), I (hice, quise, vine). We do a project with them on this!
FUJI verbs is a term a cooperating teacher of mine used to refer to irregular verbs in the preterite, and that I've used as well. It stands for: F (fui, fui), U (pude, puse, anduve, tuve, supe, estuve), J (dije, traje), I (quise, vine, hice) and refers to the types of spelling changes each verb goes through. Hope this helps!
