These activities are a perfect fit to our spelling unit on controlled r words. My only concern is using capital letters in words that do not belong or making a lower case letter as big as an uppercase letter within the games. thirD is an example. I prefer to use examples that I want the children to mimic, not necessarily a cute font.

Jennifer I wanted to let you know I really like some of the stuff you have placed on TeachersPayTeachers! Keep on helping us not reinvent the wheel. I am just wondering where you found your template for the fix up the mix up sentence pdf? I'd love to play with the idea, which I have been doing by hand for years, but I'd like to move the mixed up words to the bottom of the page so students could cut and reorder before committing pencil to paper or actually cut and paste depending upon their skills. Thanks a lot.

Are there pieces that correlate to the part/part/whole mats or are they making their own parts/wholes using the mat as a guide? TPT received a cease and desist letter from the ladies who created Daily 5 so we had to remove our products. In order for us to now list items related to Daily 5 they must be freebies. I removed them because I wasn't sure what to do about the folks who previously had paid for the cards. I will relist them as freebies later this afternoon!
