I wrote a note in the beginning of the packet stating that I omitted Unit 10 because the end of the year is always so crazy and Unit 10 doesn't really have a "theme." I can create something if you need it, though. What types of words would you like? I was thinking color words and number words.

I have several of those sweeties in my class too and I use most of this stuff with them! It does not have much "letter work," just materials to make a book shaped like a P with P words on each page (like pumpkin!). Most of the writing, I do with my class, then they copy from the chart that we make together onto their own paper. I find that this really helps even those low babies with letter formation. It has an -at family booklet that may help them out with sounding out words and learning some of those sight words (the pages read "I can see a bat. I can see a hat, etc). There are also several math and art projects. I think as long as you model and help them out with the writing, they should be fine. Mine are! Hope this helps!

I have purchased the label size math journals, and when I print the ones that are a little bit longer are incredibly off, but ones that look like Topic 4 lesson 3 fit almost perfectly excepts for the last row. What size labels should I be using or is there a way to edit the size to fit everything?

Hmm...haven't heard of this problem before. They are for the 5160/8160 labels. One thing I know, if you are using a Mac and opening it in Preview, it may be off. You should use Adobe to view it. I'll take a look and see what I can do!

I did pay and downloaded 5 labels to start off. I have 28 students in my kindergarten class - and, only count 27 labels.
Can you please add a full page - label pages come with 30 on each page and extras would be great...28 as you state would be good.

I have had to do some research on this and apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I do not control any of the money flow here. TPT does all that, so I think you have to click the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page and request a refund. Also, I have done some research on enVision math and there are currently two very, very new versions of it out and about. I think each edition was published about a year apart from each other. I created my packet according to the version I have and have now edited the description of my product to make it clear which version it corresponds to. Hopefully this will prevent future confusion. I had no idea that there were two versions, since you are the first one who has ever purchased this to have had an issue with it. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I like the packet. But.. it just doesn't go with all of our 16 Topics. For example it has a topic on Time, Money Patterns, Calendar, etc. and according to the new CCS, we do not teach most of the things in Kindergarten anymore. I am only able to use some of the topics but not all of them. We began using the Envision Math last year and the topics have not changed. I thought when I ordered these that they would go 100% along with the Envision Math and they just don't. :(:( I am not sure that you should be advertising that they go with the Kindergarten Envision Math when they actually do not.

I received my Math Journal Prompts a few weeks ago. They do not go with the Kindergarten EnVision Math. The topics are out of order and named different names than the Envision Math. The set even includes some things that we do not teach now such as time. I am having a very difficult time trying to match these to my Envision Math Topics. May want a refund if I cannot use them. :(

I am very sorry you are not satisfied. I use envision math as well and went straight from my teacher edition when makIng the packet. I am not sure where the disconnect is coming from- we just adopted envision last year so it's possible I am using a newer edition than you. I hope that you can still get some use out of it since it covers Kindergarten skills and is organized according to those skills.

I made the file with ActivInspire, so you would need that to open it. I think you can download a trial version from prometheanplanet.com. My school district had a code I used to get the full version, so maybe contact your technology person if this is the program you use at school! Thank you for buying the packet! Sorry about the confusion - I will be sure to edit it to make it more clear. The monkey diagram is a page where students can draw a monkey and label its parts: tail, arms, feet, ears, etc. The lines are for students to write a sentence about a monkey. Hope this helps!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my first year teaching Kindergarten and I absolutely love it! Last year I taught second grade and the year before that, I did a full year internship in fifth grade while I completed my Master's. I am so glad I was given the opportunity to teach Kindergarten at my school because I know this is where I truly belong!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I am a big believer in hands on teaching. I love for my students to use manipulatives whenever possible. Art projects to supplement learning are also a must!
