Do you have any files where you discuss the differences in the movie vs what really happened on the Apollo 13 mission? Such as what was historical fiction and what was real

I would like to have my purchase refunded. While looking around for an easier version of these tall tales I found some online but decidede to buy this one. However, once purchasing and downloading, I quickly realized this exact tale has been taken directly off one of the websites I was looking at. I am disgusted that to find this material copied directly off another site, a picture added, and then sold for a profit! I have no interest in using this material.

Aww you're too kind! :) Interesting stuff! I'm particularly intrigued to discover that Irish and Scottish accents sound the same to North Americans. Although maybe that's because people are mostly exposed to "Hollywood Irish" accents which are kinda an amalgamation of all Irish accents with a truckload of leprachaun. Ha ha Anyway, thanks a mil for satisfying my curiosity! :)

part two of my answer; answer to your possible characters question; btw maybe we should do email? haha..so here goes

if you'd like to draw from real life and say it's based on a true story;

Ryane; a shy girl who hasn't found her place anywhere because she's "different". Then she discovers Crew (full explanation of crew in Crew Story video and on the VBL home page--also press releases on that site). The other girls take her in and she finally feels she belongs. (actually have her telling this story on a vid I could show you). I have a kid/blues song called Sour Grapes. Ryane (her name) told me whenever kids would tease her (happened a lot) she'd just sing it back to them in her head and laugh instead of cry in her heart--it gave her inner strength and perspective. Ryane sharing that story with me is one of the reasons I thought to create I am Bullyproof.

I'll hand you the real life characters but you'd have to come up with each story arch if you liked them.

Jenni-Elise was the only teen in Crew I ever had to "deal" with. Super outgoing and smiley, she had to control every room she walked into. So whenever she and I were alone, all went well--she'd be coming to be for private coaching for years. She brought a lot of her buddies along with her to join crew. But whenever there wer 20 kids come together (every Sunday morning) she'd start making rude remarks, interupting, talking while I was talking. After years of warning her, I finally kicked her out--there was a big scene where I lost my cool with her right before a show. After the show, I say "you're out" and wrote the song SPECIAL. Sent her the lyrics.
Well, Ms. J thought when I kicked her out, all her buddies would go with her. But they didn't--they knew she just had problems with anyone in authority. I'm a real loose goose, it takes a lot to get me mad. They just said "Jenni--you made you own problem."
That song Special became Crew's favorite song to sing. 6 months later when they sang it at a sold out show Jenni showed up right before and pulled her friends outside saying "if you're my friends, you'll refuse to sing that song!" but they sang it and she ran crying out the back door. (all this I heard later). Special ended up being Jeff Bridges' fav song of mine and has received a lot of attention. I hear Jenni is now a school teacher dealing with kids who have to listen to her. Pretty funny.
Oh, btw, on Jenni-Elise; pudgy, pretty, hispanic, talented but a giant pain in the ass

Jaan was a gorgeous surfer with wild hair (now my partner at bullyproof). He wrote great songs and the girls all swooned when he entered the room. He is bi-polar, however, and has to deal with a whole lot of changing moods and harsh emotions that come at him out of the blue. Our song Chemical (on the bullyproof site—still in rough version) is all about him. Would love to use it in a show. We'd like to educate kids about chemicals and their effects on a person’s attitude of the moment.

The song Whatever;
Rachel comes in and says "Lessia--you HAVE to write me a song to sing to my mom when she's acting all unreasonable and hormonal!" Rach is an actor/tennis champ from a wealthy family. She's at Dartmouth now--also a math genius and sweet person. But her mom was driving her nuts--something about wet towels on the floor. So I wrote her WHATEVER. and she started singing whatever to feel better haha.
Funny thing about whatever, I had Asian moms knocking at my door "Thank you so much for writing a song I can sing when my daughter is acting crazy!" and things like that happen. All the moms thought I'd written the song for them. It's been a huge hit. Seems to make everyone bullyproof.
Again--don't know if I'm giving you enough of an arch. Rachel is the pretty girl in our Johnny Depp video on the VBL site (video page) Tune’s about a scruffy boyfriend. Fun tune too—about acceptance.

4 ZOE--the girl on the Scary Guy vid. Wrote CRUMBLE for her because she's shy--all about walking up to a boy and not being shy. Her version (her page on the VBL site) sounds like she's Betty Boop--too cute. Song became a huge hit at Santa Barbara high--guys were begging me to write them a Crumble song too--we're shy too!!!! They kept tlling me. Also have a story about how the song got written if you want to use it in the arch. Crew-related

5 Ben- gorgeous, long haired Asian quiet teen w/a guitar who sat by my side and played along. We were buds. The girls swooned with him too. He loved my Barn Burn song. Kept saying "Love it but what does it mean?" haha he played on a lot of the recordings including Fearless. He was there when I first wrote Fearless and we both knew it'd be what it's become--check the mail in our testimonials. Don't know what his story arch would be--nice to see a teen though hanging with his nutty songwriting ringleader. Warm-hearted kid. Very picky about music.

6 Danielle; country girl, the cut up (she's on the Crew Story vid). Low voice, big boobs, hearty attitude, felt like hanging out with a fun adult. She's already married now. Drove a big gold pick up truck from San Ynez to SB every Sunday morning to sing with us. She was a low (again; CRew story vid) and a leader. She hated it when I got hippie on her. "No talk to me about the universe. Too airy fairy" haha but we got along because I'm also way down to earth and direct. Wrote her country boots (on the VBL website). story arch? don't know what her lesson would be--she was so mature, but she was a stand out. You can also catch her pretty face in passing on the SPECIAL video (VBL site).

7. Alternate boy; Kameron. Loves musical theatre, loves to act. Parents are hard on him—preppy, from a wealthy family. He’s the one who said my songs and crew were a musical. He loved the song Believe That and said it was all about how his parents didn’t understand him. I do think he’s right—the song spoke to lots of kids while their parents kept asking “what’s it about?” His dad wanted him to play sports while he wanted to act/sing/dance. He was very tortured and hung with

8. Viva, daughter of Martin, but I wouldn’t want to use that, so I don’t know if she’d be a character. The stories I could share are too personal with her. But maybe there could be a girl who had a famous parent famous at something else besides music or film? When she recorded Special she started to cry and said it reminded her of her dad and his entourage—it was hard to get close to him in certain ways. And there we are in the barn we used as a studio..Jessie Bridges and Viva Gore—both in awe of each other for having famous parents. Both having dads who were really interesting but not at home a lot. Might be too close to the truth however. How about a girl who just wishes her dad had a clue?

9. haha moi; nutty ringleader. Who only threw Crew together on a whim ‘cause she didn’t have a BF at the time and was bored on Sunday mornings. She’d been coaching all these kids so she thought; why not throw them in a room and see if they like each other? She disorganized, chatty, wise with her advice and no nonsense, but also adhd so the kids all think she’s fun. Not a major character but the kids could center around her somehow..
10. I wrote Fearless for Jessie Bridges who was a bit too old to have ever been in my Crew. But since it’s such an important song, pretty much any story line to lead to it. There were so many other kids;

Kelly—the biker chick; chubby and pretty—kinda rough in presentation. She used to bring her pet iguana with her to rehearsals. Mostly it slept on her shoulder but once it got loose—that was a hoot. She was very soulful. Loved animals and bad boys.
Caitlyn—loved everything French. Always dressed with flair and believes dressing is an ART form. Is still working at being and actor. Dramatic singer on stage—compelling. Deep girl who cried as she dedicated songs to her friends. Dad filmed Jaws—from a movie family.
The Beltran sisters—Carolina the youngest was also the deepest. They hung out at might house every Tuesday night—brought their homework and took turns at singing sessions. Carolina joined Crew at ten but was an old soul who believed in fairies, who sense what people were thinking and thought up the word CRUMBLE for a song. Or rather, she used the word while telling the story and I went “WOW! What a word. You’d crumble??? I gotta use that.”
Her mom and sisters didn’t understand her because she liked to get to the underside of things and they were lovely but more on the surface philosophically. Her mom always said “I’m glad she has you, Lessia, to understand her.” But don’t know if there’s a story arch..
Who else? Sarah (Crew story vid) is insanely cool. The one eating the muffin who talks about mumbling.

Would love to do something in the musical about how singing is like life (have a vid on that I could show you—two minutes with Carolina’s older sister talking). Anyway, it’s cool, deep and fun. Storyline? Find your voice kinda thing leading to Fearless maybe?
There are other girls all over the videos and sites. All you have to do is ask about one who you like and I’m sure there’s a story. Crew went on for years.
Enough==a peace song that kids ADORE and Crew actually sang. Our new song Supposed To that Jessie might sing would make a cool segment—it asks why to we so often follow the assumed path?

There are more tunes and I also write very quickly if something’s needed.
Again, my idea is actually what Cameron described way back when. Kids come to me, walk in with their “chorus line” type teenage dilemmas. There’s some kind of arch and the song is the answer. Everything, at it’s core, is about not allowing oneself to be bullied by life in general. Having a clue about the world gives a kid a lot more inner strength than just going with the flow and wondering why things aren’t feeling quite right.
MONKEY—almost forgot that one. Kinda young but all about the “worry thoughts” in our heads. Could make a really funny segment with Carolina maybe—I actually have her singing the song.
Oh wait—another character . If you watch the MONKEY video-in the middle and at the end Madi from Crew talks about how I taught her about the monkey thoughts in her head, and how that conversation solved her habitual ‘getting angry at everyone as a habit” problem.
Cute vid and she’d make a great character because she has that song, the set up and was that typical “life is drama!” kid for the longest time. Redhead. Got her on film twice _

Cool. haha I also get bored at long musicals. Your timing sounds about right. My main website right now is www.IamBullyproofMusic.org. created because so many tweens and teens came to me for advice, then when I stuffed common sense advice into song lyrics for them to sing, they thanked me profusely claiming I'd saved their lives with my tunes. So we're in the midst of creating a classroom program around the most popular songs so far.

I believe (and have been told) if we could come up with something around collecting wisdom==maybe kinda like chorus line so every kid had a story with a moral in the song..something wrapped around self worth, self esteem, dealing with both the bullies on the outside (including siblings, rough adults as well as peers) and bullies on the inside (check out our monkey song)...

I believe there'd be a HUGE market--in fact, am sure of it. Wouldn't even have to come up with new songs--have so many up that alley.

I type fast so now you have kinda the gist. I'm thinking we could go the way that teenage boy suggested--kids walking in with stories? and not too long--but the bottom line being interesting characters with unique yet universal teen and tween situations where songs like Messy really help them figure things out.

I'm classically trained and have published choral music I wrote arrangements for. I'm sure the music we could figure out. Since most of the songs are piano based, kids love to learn the keyboard parts and sing along. (that's me always on keyboard and also singing all the backups--I sing too).

Have more songs to choose from and true stories galore if you like this idea at all. I am also open to something from scratch, but honestly, seems like more work than it needs to be. I just co-wrote a new song with a kid who used to be in my teen crew (my partner on the IambullyproofMusic.org website. It's not up yet but called Supposed To. Very up this alley I'm describing. Jessie may record it if it fits her voice--she's done a lot of my tunes.

If we wrote something she could actually be involved with, as I said, might be able to hand it around good places as a possible little indie vid too eventually--a friend who used to work at Sony said the thing with musicals is to get a little film made first.

But I'm easy.

Since you're a drama person--our most popular song, Fearless, is sung by Jessie Bridges (actor, Jeff's daughter). Fun trivia. We recorded her in a little shack! But that's not why I write haha I'm just trying to get your attention.
On our BP website we have songs galore--also at bridgesand bonn, also vocalsbylocals. We were almost a show called Glee but pitched too late. So many people have told me--grab all those wisdom-packed tunes kids love and write a musical. Although I have perfect pitch, pen a tune ina sneeze, sing, play keyboard like nobody's business, I have NO talent at anything like writing a "story"--too adhd haha I'm guessing. Also, I so admire thesbians seeing I really can't act worth beans.

However, state standards in California for 8th grade Language Arts students are more focused on proposition and support. Please help me! I purchased this test a few weeks ago and only got 10 matching questions and 3 short answer questions (which only focused on a few details). I filed it away in my folder. When I came back to TpT today looking for Treasure Island tests again, I saw a review (from Annabell) in the Feedback section expressing satisfaction with the multiple choice questions and how comprehensive your test is. Without looking back at my purchases list, I thought the one in my folder must have been the free download, a preview. So I bought it again, but when I downloaded it got the same thing--a ten question matching item and 3 short answer questions with a key. Is there a glitch? Is there supposed to be more or is this it? Was Annabell referring to something else? Thanks!
