I taught 8 years of social science in Fremont Unified School District: 10th grade World History, 11th grade United States History, 11th grade AP United States History, 12th grade Economics, 12th grade Government, and Adult School (all social science subjects).In addition, I taught an original workshop for 10th grade English and history teachers at my high school on how to teach the Holocaust, created a 10th grade honors world history pull-out program at my high school, helped to develop small learning communities at our high school, focusing on teacher cooperation & joint planning in 10th grade English and World History, and coached swimming: Junior Varsity for 4 years in Fremont, Masters Club for 2 years in Carpinteria, USA Swim Club for 2 years in Carpinteria, and Red Cross swim lessons in Ventura for 6 years.
