I love the Westing Game, I used it by assigning students parts and having them read as the characters while I read as the narrator. It helped them learn about quotations with character assignment (i.e. "blah blah blah," asked Mr. Westing.) and those that are implied from two character dialogue. There are so many characters though, I think it would be easy for the kids to get lost if you are the only one reading it....

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I taught 10 years, mostly 5th grade, but am trying to finish my Ph.D and have no need to hold onto all of my teaching resources. Although it's painful to get rid of some of my favorite items, it just doesn't make any sense for them to just sit in my closet when they can make some other teacher very happy....
