Thanks for rating it Amy. I know how hard it is to find STAAR materials with so little materials released right now so I am trying to put up anything I do that might have questions that are written in the correct style. Everything I have posted this month, no matter what it is, has questions written with in that style because of that. For example how do you summarize the story? Then students must do a BME.

These are meant to be used as a teaching strategy. I walked my third graders through the first few pages before allowing them to do it on their own. Once that was done they did great. I also passed it on to several of my friends who taught third grade and they have implemented it in their classroom. I used it as a problem of the day and had students do it on their own and then we walked through it discussing why we made the choices we made. They did awesome and it really helped.

In Context Clues #1 there is only one page. However, I am currently finishing a book like this page that will be multiple pages. That is why the page is listed as Context Clues one. It was a way for me to gage interest which seems to exist. The book should be listed in about two weeks.
