I am a home school mom trying to teach report writing to my fourth grader. We did the first report together and he is on to doing the next one on his own. The first we wrote as a report and used a poster as the final product. This next time we will learn how to do a powerpoint. This resource made teaching this so simple! I love how it helps them to collect facts and then put the facts into like paragraphs.

Great idea! I have done the "pink slip" thing for years and years...and thought I was original! Hah! I run mine off on bright pink paper and warn the parents to look for it! I explain to the students how getting a pink slip is akin to getting fired in the real world. I love your version and I may adapt it to mesh with my own version! Thanks!

My teaching style is fun and structured. While they may not sound like they go hand in hand, I believe you can have both!

I grew up going to school in Texas and completed college at Athens State University in Athens, Alabama with a BS in Elementary Education.
