This is just what I needed to help a third grade student who has never been to "school". She came from home-school and does not know letters and sounds. She loves this item. Once she learns the letter name and sound, she gets to color the picture (which she loves) and we add it to her book.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am ending my 5th year of teaching. I have taught 4th grade for 1 year, 5th grade for 2 years, and I am starting my 3rd year in Kindergarten. My 2 year old son knows all of his upper and lower case letters and most sounds. He is currently learning to blend simple CVC words.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Student Inquiry Based (mostly in the upper grades) I prefer a cooperative learning environment where my students have lots of discussion and teaching time.

I love to teach! My top hobbies are to dance and read. I easily get consumed it books and have to limit how often I read. I love to dance and now teach small dance classes out of my home. I have a little boy which is why I went down to Kindergarten to work part-time.
