Thank you for answering my question. I was still wondering how I can go into the file and change the sight words. Is that even possible? I'd like to purchase this packet as I like everything about it. I just might have to change the order of the letter of the week as well as your sight words. I've already aligned my sight words with my homework for next year.

You can put a text box over that area and put in your own sight words into the document. The original files were done in Publisher so I had to scan them to create the TPT friendly word document leaving them uneditable in any other way that I can think of. Hope that helps & makes your day easier!

These look great. I saw your packet on the downloadable image - is this the same as the other HW packet you offer except it's in D'Nealian? This doesn't have a downloadable option.

Yes. It should be the same. I had a teacher request the D'Nealian so I just went back in & changed out the penmanship for her. Hope that helps.

My computer has Word 2010. I can try to send you the file directly to see if that makes a difference. If you give me your email address I will send the original file to you. If it is the D'Nealian, it does have some copying & pasting because I made it at the request of another teacher because I only had it in Peterson to start.

I have them up and listed. The thumbnails do not show the D'Nealian but I downloaded the file to double check and it is right when you download. The initial practice with the full alphabet is not dotted lines but the individual ones are dotted for tracing. Be sure to get the one that says with D'nealian handwriting pracitce because the files names are very similar. Have a great one and I hope it helps.

The files where too large as they were so I had to scan them. You can probably add a text box over the sight word area to make that change. The activities should cover the majority of common core & also provide DIBELS prep. My district uses Beyond Textbooks as a calendar & that is aligned to common core.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for going on 13 years now. I have spent most of that time teaching first graders. I moved to Kindergarten & I love it! I am a very silly and creative person. I always want to do great things in my classroom. I love to find ways to create shortcuts that save me $ and time in the classroom. Most of my items were created for that reason. I either got tired of getting ripped off at the teacher's store or they just didn't have what I was looking for! I hope that you see something that might make your day easier or save you some coin!
