I had to do a lesson on this book without having read it. This was extremely helpful being that the book is so hard to get because it was written in 1909. Great activities for before, during, and after reading. Highly recommended!
Since the questions are discussion oriented and open ended, there isn't an answer key. I will be updating all of my guided resources soon & will add more tradition worksheet material along with answer keys.

I'm interested in your Summary Bookmarks. They are not included in the lesson plan. Also is the Characterization chart refered in the plan part of the Story Map?

How old were your students when you did this unit?
I've used this plan with 10 year old students near the beginning of the year as part of a fantasy genre study. The group of students were in a guided reading group with average reading abilities.

I did not receive two parts of this packet:
"Voter Registration"
and the "Election Problem Cards"
I look forward to this wonderful set of activities.... but really need to have the two missing pages-
Many thanks! katieschiyer@gmail.com
I did not include actual tests with this guided reading plan. The discussion prompts could be used as an evaluation.

trollins99 re: Coraline guided reading plan
I just purchased your Coraline guided reading plan and am having trouble downloading it. The description says it is a Word document, which I have, but the system is not recognizing the file as a word file. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hello,
I'm wondering if your Word software is older; however, the newer versions should be backward compatible. Send me your e-mail & I will send it to you as a PDF attachment.
I was wondering what the "Thinknotes" were for Tuck Everlasting. Is this something you created and have available on TPT or was it from a resource book?
The "Thinknotes" are bookmarks for students to record their ideas, connections, questions, and visualizations while reading. It is near the end of the packet you purchased. If you cannot find it, just send me your e-mail & I will send a copy of it to you.

Please help -- I already purchased this item, but somehow missed being able to download it. I paid with PayPal and then asked to go back Teacher Synergy, but did not see any way to download. What do I need to do now?
I would be happy to send you an attached file to your e-mail address.

Hey! I absolutely love your guided reading lesson plans. I bought everyone you created. I am using How to Disappear and never be found and do not see the "hot seat bookmark" in the pack. Does it come seperately. If so, cou;ld you tell me where to find them? Thanks
I just checked the guide & I apologize for it not being included. I thought it was. I would be glad to send you the pdf file of the bookmark which is a Thinknote of the 4 question types & a place for the students to write their questions. I'm at a loss at how to do this within the parameters of this format. I would be glad to e-mail it to you. JM

KathyLevi re: Among the Hidden guided reading plan
Your unit prints out free if you click on the item above yours, the Ch. 1-6 unit test.
I was looking at the free preview for Alice in Wonderland. You made a statement about looking at Lewis Carroll's name in a mirror image and asking students if they noticed anything unusual. I tried it at home and didn't see anything. Am I missing something? I'm intrigued.
Hello,
Hopefully the students would notice that the name is in mirror image without you pointing it out to them. I wanted students to notice this & then extrapolate that he was a playful man & loved games. I remember reading both novels "Alice" & "Through the Looking Glass" & being told that they were political satires. After researching the author I now question if that was the author's intention.
Hope this reply is helpful,
JM
Mrs. Garver,
Thank you for the notice. I was playing with the security on the PDF file & thought I had left it open to be saved, but will fix & up load again.
JM
I downloaded the file which looked very helpful, but I was unable to save it. Do you have the file encoded in some way that doesn't allow it to be saved. I've downloaded many files from TPT but have never had this problem before. Thanks!
