Same as below!! This will definitely be helpful! But...I also bought both - owl and moose theme - thinking they were different! Also - was it my computer that the numbers for the standard were squeezed together? Thanks for this!
This is a really great resource; however, I do have a few recommendations. First, I actually downloaded both calendars (one with owls and one with a moose) because I thought one might be a reading calendar and the other writing calendar. This may have been my fault for not looking closer, but I think it would be helpful if you added to your description that the reader will find the reading calendar and then the writing calendar. Again, this is partly my fault because I wasn't paying close enough attention at first because they looked identical when I was skimming through it. Also, I found several typing mistakes. As I said before, I think this has the potential to be a WONDERFUL resource, and I do hope that you are planning on publishing the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters. I would be happy to adjust my rating if you correct the spelling errors and make it available to download again! Thank you for all the work you've already put into this, and I have already found it helpful with documenting the common core!

This sounds like a great product I can use with my first graders. Would it be possible for you to post a preview sample of the games? Thanks! Cindy

I have an activboard at school. if I purchase will I be able to open at school?
I don't yet....we are getting the Lucy Calkins reading workshop year long program for September just found out. But I wanted to get a jump on it to lay something out for the first nine weeks:) When I get the program I plan on making one and can put it up when I have it completed :)
I do want to tell you if you check out http://www.wrsd.net/literacy/ they have it laid out for the year. I used this religiously and you will see that most of what I have on this calendar came from them. They have some lessons as well. It isn't cute with owls and moose :) but is a great resource.
