I wish you were around when I was teaching Humanities for the first time! As an English teacher who then had to teach art & music history, I seriously struggled. It is good to know that this lesson touched on the same things I did, so at least I know I was doing something right! :) Very good lesson - I know my students enjoyed exploring the Lascaux cave art on the web. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Andy -I'm not as active on this site as I could be, so I can't really offer much advice. I sell a couple of powerpoints a quarter and that's usually about it. :)
My biggest suggestion would be that if you make a quiz, worksheet, etc., make sure you include the answer key. For some reason, I forgot to do that when I first uploaded. Good luck! Good to hear from another Art History teacher!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have eleven years of experience teaching Art Appreciation, Art 1, Drawing, Painting, and Graphic Design at the high school level.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I like to integrate technology into the curriculum as much as possible. Students like to "do" things to learn them; therefore, in my Art Appreciation classes (a course that is not traditionally hands-on), I incorporate web activities into all of my teaching.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
I have had two students earn Gold Key status at the national Scholastic Art Awards. I have had numerous students earn Gold Keys at the state level in this program.
