I'm wondering what is the grading scale/rubric you use for the making shapes with pattern blocks timely? 1.G.2 (I had one student use two squares and triangle to make house and another student use multiples of all the shapes to make herself and her mom. :)

Hi Jodi I couldnt find your email I love these morning work pages they are great, but on the May pack with the sight word "own" I found a couple of mistakes on the addition and subtraction page where you draw circles for help on 13-5 there is only 12 circles, and on the back it says It have my own stuff, wasnt sure if it should say I have my own stuff, or It has..just wanted to let you know! I have heard of many people using them for Poetry Journals. This would be perfect to work on fluency practice, but you could also have Kindergarteners highlight words they know or are learning. I just created a bundled packet of all of my monthly poems and songs (September - May.)

Only the poems and songs rhyme. There is a variety of poems, songs, fiction stories and nonfiction stories in each monthly packet. If I had to guess on levels, I would say I start with about a C-E in September and gradually increase. I would say the entire year starts at a C and goes to J-L. You can check out more samples by going to each month separately in my TpT store and downloading the previews :) That might help. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I don't mean to be rude in any way. I am very interested in buying the complete set for an entire year. I teach 2nd grade in a low income rural area. Most of my students are working on a lower reading level. This would be a great resource for them. Could you tell me the cost of purchasing the complete package? I know it's kind of confusing because I wanted to give people tons of options. Each monthly packet is $8.50 (making a 3 month packet purchased separately $25.50). Purchasing the Fall, Winter, or Spring packet saves $1.50 per packet. I also have each week that can be purchased on their own, which is $3.00 a piece. There are 4 weeks per monthly packet, which would be $12.00, but purchased as a whole month together is $8.50. Does that clear it up? (Clear as mud, right?!?) ;) Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Jodi- I just purchased your Spring Writing Prompts packet this morning and I am so excited to use it! I did find one mistake though. On page 122 it is "The Best Kind of Weather" but the first box / topic box says "Type of Flower" instead of "Type of Weather" I am sure it was just accidently overlooked from the prompt that comes before - since it is about flowers. Just thought I would let you know.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
