Love what you've done with Froggggy! Just wondering about the subtraction pg. with the missing addend -why is the problem set-up for ex: 8= _ _ - 10 and not

Downloading it wasn't the problem. Printing it was the problem. A friend of mine bought it for herself and she also ran into the same problem. We have concluded that it might be a Mac issue. Thank you anyway.

A friend of mine printed it on her printer in her classroom and it printed portrait instead of landscape. Was this the problem? If so, I am not sure exactly what it was...I will ask today and get back to you. Maybe a printer setting? She brought it over to me and I thought it was strange. I will get back to you today. I bought the second quarter writing unit as soon as it came out, but have been unable to get it to print. Every time I get a message that says Adobe Reader not responding so I update AR and tried printing it again and got the same message. I see that you had computer issues the first time you posted it. Can I download it again at no fee to see if that was the problem? I loved your first writing unit and was so anxious to use this one, but have been unsuccessful in printing it.

Hmmmm...I am not aure what the problem is. I just downloaded it from several computers here at school just to make sure that I didn't have a problem using other computers and it dowloaded ok. Have you tried using another computer? Maybe there is a needed update for Adobe? Try another computer and let me know if that doesn't work.

I can but the fonts will have to be changed because you may not have the same fonts I do therefore they won't display correctly on your computer (if that makes any sense :-) ) I think there is another way to edit...like inserting text boxes so I will try that. This unit includes activities for the long a, long e, long i, long o,and long u patterns. There is a word sort activity for each long vowel pattern. For example the long "a" word sort has words containing a_e, ai, and ay to sort on a tree map. Following the word sort activity, there is a silly story for the kids to read and highlight all the long "a" pattern words. When they finish reading the story, they write the words on their tree map/recording sheet. Let me know if you need more details about the packet...I would be glad to let you know. I was very interested in viewing your product and buying it. However, the powerpoint or whatever format you did the preview in would not open. As a huge TPT buyer, I didn't purchase this becuase I couldn't view what I was getting. If you look at the top sellers their previews are simple, easy and one click. I feel very bad that you lost a sale - your product appeared to be a good one - but it was just too frustrating to preview it.

I just bought this product and it is unable to load to any of my computers. I have ActivInspire and use a promethean board. Usually I am unable to convert Smartboard lessons to ActivInspire. I have tried on different computers and it continues to shut down my program and will not load. Help, please!

Hi there...I just doubled checked and the only thing that has a "holiday feel" to it one sentence in the sentence scramble game. I have witch feet for one sentence. The rest of the unit is full of information about bats- not focused on Halloween but in bats. I hope that helps.

I bought your unit and now I don't know how to download it. I am new to teachers pay teachers. I bought a couple of things last year but it seems they were easy to download. All I see is you own it and download preview. When I click on download preview all it gives me is the preview which I figured but what do I click to get the download?

I am sharing your TPT products and your blog with all the first grade teacher in my district(San Jacinto Unified School District). So hopefully you will get more followers and sales. I just love what you are doing. I have taught for 31 years in K and 1st and make a lot of stuff that I put on my youtube channel. I am hoping to make them into apps this summer.
Our district wants us to be up and running with common core at the beginning of the school year but don't have a clue how it really works. I hope to use your products in my classroom so they can see. I will be purchasing from you when I get paid on the 31st. Just one question, do you teach in California or Nevada? I am in southern California and use HM so we are very similar.

Hi there...there is a word sort for each long vowel a,e,i,o,u +oo with a sorting mat and recoding sheet. I also included a short story for each long vowel as well. For example, the long vowel a has students sort ai, ay, and a-e. The story contains many long a pattern words for students to highlight and sort on the mat when then they are finished reading the passage. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi, Johanna, I purchased your Place Value Fun game. Do students turn the card over and write on each card the number of ones and tens? Or to they record the number of ones and tens on the recording Sheet? Also do the color on the recording sheet ex 36 color 3 tens and 6 ones. I saw they arrow is that all they color? ex arrow points to 3 in 36 what is the value of 3? Do they color only 3 tens? Sorry I am confused.

Hi there...If you laminate they can write on the cards. I do have them write and wipe on the cards but you can use white boards as well or just use the data sheet. The arrow is for students to be able to identify the value of the number the arrow is pointing to. You can have the students only color the number on the data sheet to match the number the arrow is pointing to or you can ignore the arrow and have them color the data sheet to match the number.
