John,

I purchased "How to Explicate a Poem" after downloading a preview. You rpreview contained a PP with slides related to a Robert Frost poem. My $4 purchase consists of only two typed pages. Perhaps you can tell me how to access the rest of the material.

Sue, you may not have a compatible application for the .zip file, which the ppt requires. If you send me an email address I can send you the file. It is pptx, so you know.
Hope this helps! This is a wonderful lesson.

libros1 re: Clauses Review Study Guide
Hello,
I bought your Clauses Review Study Guide, and I am happy with the product, but it seems like the study guide part is missing. Do you have anymore information on independent and subordinate clauses? I also bought the Preposition Project, and it looks like a lot of fun! Great idea!
Thank you!

I bought this mainly for the posters that were shown as a preview, but when I purchased and downloaded the unit- the posters were not there.

Were they supposed to be? If not, your previews were very misleading.

The students create the posters. This is simply a guide teaching the steps to creating the posters. Very sorry for the confusion but thanks for the feedback.

This lesson is the rubric and step by step guide for students to use to create the posters expressing verb phrases. First I teach what verb phrases are, then, using this template, have students construct their own verb phrases poster with pictures. Hope this helps.

brusoc re: Mad Libs Project (parts of speech)
Does this lesson focus on all 8 parts of speech or on one part of speech at a time? How many pages is it and what exactly does it entail? can you just literally photocopy each page for your students? Does it include notes on what the parts of speech are?

Hi Brusoc,
This lesson can focus on as many parts of speech as you have covered. It is rubric with a short example and step by step instructions for your students to create their own mad lib. What I do is use this website:
Mad Glibs - Free Mad Libs Online
www.madglibs.com/
A fun, free online and printable version of Mad Libs! You can even create madlibs for your website. Now includes other fun games!

to work through some mad libs with students in groups (fun competition) on the smartboard, then I have students create their own mad lib using this lesson rubric. Use my "Parts of Speech Review" to review the parts of speech before tackling this one.
