I like this resource and will definately find it to be a good reinforcement in the classroom. I wish there was more space for student remarks/explanation. I also thought that the "Hyperbole" picture was a part of the resource. Still, this is very convenient and useful.

This lesson is the rubric and step by step guide for students to use to create the posters expressing verb phrases. First I teach what verb phrases are, then, using this template, have students construct their own verb phrases poster with pictures. Hope this helps.

Mad Glibs - Free Mad Libs Online

A fun, free online and printable version of Mad Libs! You can even create madlibs for your website. Now includes other fun games!
to work through some mad libs with students in groups (fun competition) on the smartboard, then I have students create their own mad lib using this lesson rubric. Use my "Parts of Speech Review" to review the parts of speech before tackling this one.
