Mary Willen  (TpT Seller) re: Murder Mystery--Who Killed Julianne Stevens?
Would I be able to use this as a fun murder mystery for around 40 to 50 students? I wanted to have students in teams of 5 or so go from station to station - forensics, handwriting, interview the witnesses, examine crime scene etc. Then they would determine who they thought did it. Than for another activity, I wanted them to put on a trial and try the suspect. Have you ever done this? Any suggestions? I have your trial activity. Also have you ever put on a murder mystery dinner theatre? Thanks so much.

Mary, thanks for all the questions. Making this into a mock trial would be really cool, but, with a mock trial you have to make it so that the outcome could go either way. With the mystery, there needs to be an answer about who did it. I think you could do this activity with any number of students. I do think you could add the physical evidence to the mystery and run it in stations. For example, there is a bloody glove, a dead body, etc. please feel free to take this and change it to work for you. My kids always have a good time doing this! And no, I have never done the murder mystery dinner theatre, but wld like to!
