Hi!
Thanks so much for your purchase! First delete it from your computer and download it again. It probably got damaged in the transfer and downloading it again usually works. Let me know if that doesn't take care of it and I'll contact support. I sell a lot of that kit and this is the first time anyone has had a problem with it.
Let me know asap so I can make sure you get it!

Yes, just print a page of them and put it in your printer. Practice lining up your text on blank pages before you print on the real sheet of tags. I can make and email you a Word document of the tags if you are comfortable with Word. If so, email me- my email address is in your file. I hope that helps. Let me know if I can help you more.

Hello, What is the difference between the "My State Book" and the "My State Report?" I am the one who bought the state book yesterday and you are trying to get in touch with to make sure I have the most up to date version. fyi, I have not received it yet and am waiting to her from technical support.

I love the book set I received, however, it would be great to have the student worksheet and the rubric that is in the state report.

Thank you.

Hi Erin,
So sorry for the mixup. The main difference is the lines- primary lines for the "My States". Also, the "States Reports" is more for older kids (plain writing lines) and it includes the items you mentioned and also blank maps. Email me- my address is in your kit- and I'll send you both kits.

I would like to know a little more detail about the subtraction and addition monster game please!!
October 9, 2012 Report inappropriate comment

The game can be played by advanced kindergarten students (ones who can add and subtract already) or grades 1-3. Actually older kids might like it because it IS challenging. I enjoy playing it myself and I am an adult! They roll 2 dice and they add or subtract to get a number. They take the card with that number on it. Then the other player takes a turn, etc. Older kids can use multiplication to take a number, too. Play continues until all cards are gone. Player with the most cards wins. So studuents are adding and subtracting to 12. Hope that helps. If not, feel free to ask again.

Hi!
Everything I could think of. LOL A few tangibles- pick a new pencil, chew bubble gum, etc. Many privileges such as earning extra recess time for the class, being first in line for a day, sit in a new spot for a day, eat lunch with the teacher, read a story to the classs, etc. Hope that helps.
Have a great school year!

I love this resource! I just don't quite understand how you use the student markers. Some have numbers, some are circles. How does this part work? Thanks so much!

Hi Brenda,
You can use either- if your students have numbers, then use the numbered pieces. I like numbers because then student names aren't visible. I made plain ones for teachers who don't use numbers.Start with all of them on the "Ready to Learn" section at the beginning of the day. Then move them up or down according to their behavior. My kids loved it last year and would do all kinds of things to be "Role Models"! LOL Email me if you have ?s

I started in March of 2009, and I only made about $200 that first year. This is the beginning of my fourth year, and I have been getting a check for three quarters now. Just be patient. Building your business takes time and lots of work, but it pays off in the end.

I would stick to the pricing guide for now, and if the product starts to sell, then raise the price. That is what I did in the beginning. Also, I don't stick to the $3.00 limit because many of my items are not that big. Most of my items are under $3.00 and sell well. Just stay away from the $1.00 price as you make very little money although I do have several that are $1.25. Just let me know what else I can do to help you.

Scipi  (TpT Seller) re: Welcome Banner -by Johnson Creations
I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. Since you are just beginning on TPT, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.

First, make a cover page for EVERY product you create which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers even if it is only one page. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Here is how you do that. Use the insert and go to the right. You should see symbols there. Insert the copyright symbol, your name and date. It should look something like this: © V. Rauch (Scipi), 2011 Also, number your pages.

It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.

I am now your 3rd follower, and hope you will reciprocate at my store as well. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/SciPi/Products

You might think about downloading Really Rachel's pricing guides which are free here on TPT at: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-TpT-Pricing-Charts-for-Sellers Your $20 product may be priced too high.

Welcome to TPT, and good luck with selling!

Wow! Thanks so much! I will go follow your store and look at your items as well. My $20 kit has 9 different items in it. Separately, they would cost $29, so I thought $20 would be a deal. Are my other items priced too high? Someone told me to stick to $3 because a minimum order was $3. Should I lower them? What would you charge for my big kit? I so appreciate your help as I am brand new to this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
P.S. I was finally able to get the guide. Each page of my big kit is a separate printable. The chart says 25 cents per page. There's no way I could make those for 25 cents. They take a lot of time to make them. But I might have to lower the price some. Do you think $15 would be better? Gulp- or even lower? Yikes! LOL
