Thank you. One thing that I've added is the possibility of using the following website (http://www.sp-studio.de/) for students to create South Park-inspired scenes to correspond with the scenes from the play. They can even add speech bubbles for the quotations. It has really worked well.

Sorry, there is not an answer key. I usually just fill in a blank test/quiz to use as a key. With short answers, I usually accept multiple answers depending on how the students defend their answers.

Part of the point of this is to only do it once. A major part of the discussion after will be based around the very question you ask. That can lead very nicely to the discussion of why communism may not always work. If there is no real "reward" or "punishment/consequence" based on performance, then what is to stop people from not doing their work and still benefitting from the work of others. I will sometimes put a quick 10 question true/false quiz along with this to check for individual accountability, but sometimes letting the class down publicly is enough of a deterrent to get the kids reading. Also, if you do this early enough in the reading of the book, you may hook those who haven't read into reading. At the very least, they will understand the book so far, and hopefully some of its deeper meanings. Even without the individual accountability, I still find this process such a valuable one that I'm willing to sacrifice a grade now and then. I usually drop the lowest quiz grade each quarter, so I tell the super-competitive kids to just make sure this is the lowest if they're worried about being "punished" for the failure of others. (Welcome to Stalinism). Thanks and good luck.
