This activity is fantastic with high school students. It is very motivating and manages time very well for this type of me activity. The timer feature is very motivating to some students who aren't always readily pumped to practice grammar points. I'd like to see some if these with question terms. The ideal... how often do we buy things that are absolutely classroom ready? Nice work Jos76

Good practice in a fun format. Kids were impressed with the technology of the timer.
I would have liked a few more pronouns, since sometimes it's a tiny bit hard to figure out the meaning of the original sentences.

I had the first part of this worksheet (the large clock with the blanks for the different expressions) several years ago and have searched high and low for it. It really seemed to help the kids remember when to use which expressions. I know I had originally found it online, long before I know about teacherspayteachers. Anyway, I'm relieved to have finally found it again. Thanks.

I really like this activity! It is really easy to use, to adapt, and to set up. And each time the students play, it is different! There is a healthy competition, and the students said it was "really fun, but you had to remember the spelling!" Thumbs up on this one!

I plan to use this as a time filler for fast finishers when I give a test on this exact topic. If I had found it a few days ago, I would have used it as a practice actitvity as well. I've made my own puzzles of this kind & they do go over pretty well with my students.
