I can tell by your work that you are a perfectionist, so I thought you would like to know about mistakes. I quickly read through the packet and saw two small errors. You filled in the commas in sentence 9A and in the directions on page 4 you wrote "commas rules". I hope I have not insulted you.

Does this include key? One review said it didn't. Does it clearly show/list 8th grade cc standards used for each activity? Possibly getting this and the two 8th grade packets for lit and informational text. If I can find something that coverslip 8th cc writing I think I am ready! Does this one cover any writing?

Hi, Yes, the product does include an answer key. As for the CC standards, I have outlined on my product description page the standards practice you will find throughout the packet, but I don't have them listed specifically for each activity. The friendly letter writing assignment is a narrative in first person, which is a common core writing standard. The web quest incorporates technology as well. If you are concerned with meeting CC standards, the Student Response pages for Lit and Informational Texts are extremely handy--I have gotten so much use out of them this year!

Hi! I just ordered the Shakespeare Stealer novel to preview for my 6-10th grade (mostly ESE) classes. I intend to use it as a read aloud and taking time at the end of each class to complete a portion of the packet together. With 45 minute class periods, how long do you believe the unit would take using your packet (The Shakespeare Stealer: Student-Ready Novel Packet)? It looks very promising! Thank you.

Hi Jen, Well it's not something I can easily estimate, but I would say a few weeks. My packet is concise, but it hits on all the important concepts and the time it takes students will vary. Also, some discussion usually needs to take place especially to acquaint students with helpful info about Shakespeare's era, the Globe, etc.

Thanks for the inquiry! The only products I have ready for sale right now are the ones I have posted. They are mostly all Common Core aligned (Book reports, novel units, common core brochures, etc.), but I haven't had a chance to develop specific writing assignments like persuasive, for example, for the 6th grade. I wish I had time to develop more products!!
