I love the Work Work centers. Is it possible to edit the recording sheets in Word Work? We have 12 words with three bonus words. I'd like to change the form to match our program. The form indicates it's a picture and won't allow me to edit.

Thanks!

I have it as a PDF file because of the clip art I used. However If you would like to message me with your email address, I can send you one through email that would align with your request. Thanks!

timdebor re: Narrative Writing Pick-a-Prompt (common core aligned)
What grade(s) would you say this is most appropriate for? I teach grade 4 special education and like the structure of this. Any ideas about adapting for reluctant writers? Thanks!

In our district we switch to expository in 5th grade so 4th grade is the last year we focus on narrative writing. However with common core we will be doing all kinds of writing every year. I taught 3rd and 4th grade and have used this organization piece with both grades. The students in my class responded well to the organization and graphic organizers. I would recommend it to anyone who teaches writing.

Scipi  (TpT Seller) re: Back to School Activity Packet
I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. You have very good ideas!

Since you are a newbie, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, your cover page contains too much information. Make it as simple as possible, but still attractive to use as a thumbnail to entice buyers. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. OR you might make a Table of Contents.

Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also, number your pages.

If you have time, I would love to get your input on one of my freebies listed below.

If you prefer math freebies, I have several at my store.

I am now your 9th follower, and hope you will reciprocate at my store as well. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/SciPi/Products

Welcome to TPT, and good luck with selling!

Thank you for the advice! I will definitely add more instructions to my items, and add my information to the bottom of the screen. I would hate to have to learn the hardway like you had to.

I am now a new follower for you. I will take a look at your blog and store this weekend.

Have a great day!
