I liked this activity because it gave students an opportunity to spread out around the classroom, to close their eyes, and listen to me as the scenarios were read to them. I wish, however, that more than 20% of the questions would have been used to determine the learning styles.

concept was quite good but some of the pictures were lacking in clarity. Students of lower level ability would have to struggle with creating stories for these prompts but for the more challenged students they are great!

This is one of the BEST products that I have purchased from TpT. It is very innovative and attractively presented. The comparison makes it very easy for the students to construct a well written paragraph with understanding!! Thanks a million for such an awesome product. During the term, we studying novels/poetry/patriotic song lyrics... The class discusses that the American Dream is a nebulous and evolving concept It means different things to different people.
LAND for example..
Original colonists came to the US because they were not able to inherit or own land in their own country [primogeniture laws]. Hundreds of years later, this has evolved into the American Dream of a small lawn, a white picket fence, etc.but still resonates as part of the Dream.
If the student group chooses that topic, they revisit the literature with that aspect as their focus. Does Richard Wright's Black Boy affirm that ownership of land is still part of the AD? Does it help or hinder Richard's "coming of age" as he moves from the south? What about Grapes of Wrath? Then the group examines current events [mortgage foreclosures... Occupy Wall St.] and ultimately construct THEIR OWN thesis about the topic.

Many of my PreAP students are enjoying the fantasy football game. A few students are really into it. I was wondering if you kept a running score of each character and would be willing to share.
