I was wondering if you would consider making a Spring syllable sort activity? My class really enjoyed the Fall and Winter syllable sort activities. I guess I might as well ask for a Summer syllable sort activity too! One for each season! Fabulous practise and review. Thanks.

I will try to get one made over the next few weeks. I'm on maternity leave right now, so my "work time" is dependent on nap time :)

The spring syllable sort is now available!

I have really enjoyed using your Fall syllable sort activity! I love how the pictures support the word on each card! Would you consider making a Winter syllable sort activity?

I love your cards. I just purchased this. I'm wondering if there is a way for you to make a card that has- connections, main event, problem, solution, characters, and setting all on one card? Could you resize those 6 to fit on one page? I would love it if you could! I'd like to have those all on one page as a resource for each child to have. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks so much! :-)

Hello! I am glad you love the comprehension cards! I will work on making a smaller version of the cards to add on to the end of the pack as a resource. I think having a smaller version of the cards would also be a great way to send them home. Thanks for the idea, I will send out an update once it is done.

We really like your format for narrative writing and persuasive letter writing. Our district has adopted the common core standards which include inormative/explanatory and opinion standards. We would love to have rubrics for standard W2 and W1 from ccs for second graders. Please let me know,if you have anything like that. Thanks so much!

I can definitely work on that! I teach at a year around school and am about to go off track, so I will start working on those next week. We are adopting the common core standards as well, but I've been taking a make as I go approach. I'll let you know when I post them :)

Are you looking for something that would fit with "an all" about type of writing (i.e. All About Butterflies) that includes nonfiction features? I have something started (but not perfected) for that type of writing. Let me know what you are looking for and I would be happy to get a checklist and spreadsheet up on teachers pay teachers for you.
Thanks!
