Hi!
I have only used SMART Boards, so I am not familiar with Promethean boards or the software you have installed. I did find this website that may help you convert my SMART file for your use on the Promethean board. http://www.whiteboardblog.co.uk/2011/05/moving-between-iwb-platforms/
Please get back to me if you try it. I'd love to learn something new about how this might work!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 14 years at the elementary level. My teaching experience includes 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I currently teach 5th grade and have been at this position for 7 years now.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My belief is that all children will learn when exposed to knowledge and activities that engage them. The job of the teacher is to provide new opportunities and experiences for children that are engaging and purposeful. The teacher's knowledge of developmental appropriateness and current standards and pedagogy are essential to the success of all students in the classroom.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Two research articles published in Illinois Reading Council Journal; Barnes & Noble Favorite Teacher Winner for local contest in April 2012 -- sent to Regional contest for further competition

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading and Language Arts. I've also earned a Master's Degree in the area of Reading.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My life is busy! I am married and am a mom to two young boys. It seems we're always moving, but we enjoy our downtime too. I love my job and strive to find balance between family, friends, work, and church.
