I have been teaching 9 years in the public school arena. Prior to this I worked in the preschool setting for three years. I have taught 3/4 year olds, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade.
What a joy it is to enter the classroom each day and teach the eager faces that sit before me! I am exactly where I am supposed to be for the one purpose of educating students and providing each one with a foundation for life. Each child can look forward to being welcomed into an accepting classroom that will set his or her brain on fire! I am excited about learning, excited about teaching, excited about students realizing the never-ending possibilities they are capable of. I encourage all of my students to be accepting of each other for both their strengths and their struggles. I encourage my students to realize the world that is around us and try to find a way to contribute to making a difference in it. I encourage my students to come each day willing to learn at every opportunity. What a joy it is to enter the classroom each day and teach the eager faces that sit before me!
