Your question is appreciated. We do not have a rubric already created. Our province uses Success Criteria (a checklist created by the teacher and his/her students according to our specific curriculum expectations.

We listed it from 1-3.... But if you want it to be a little more challenging you could always change the questions to make them higher thinking. I think the activities are fun for all ages. Hi Cheryl!
Monday's are usually really busy with the Monday to Monday homework bag. You are collecting everything they return in the morning and at lunch or on my break you are stuffing them to go home. I have everything ready to go before school starts in the morning Monday. I work on the week at a glance on Sunday night and pick what they will be doing for homework in Math as "review" only, the reading program pretty much runs itself. At our board we cannot assess homework that is sent home, because you can never be sure if they did it independently. Homework is really just practice, and I figure if the parents are helping the students do it, or even giving them the answer, they are getting familiar with whatever they are working on. So Mondays are busy but certainly make up for having the rest of the week off from worrying about it.
I like to always give the students till the following Monday because for those students who are very busy through the week they still have the weekend. Sure it would work in a folder.
