TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught middle school grades 6-7-8 for the past 14 years. I am currently teaching Reading to 6th graders.
MY TEACHING STYLE
My style is warm and inviting yet very academically focused. It is challenging to keep kids interested in reading, given all the distractions and options and gadgets in their lives! I love sharing a great book with them and hearing their opinions and feedback. A terrific story can have such far-reaching effects, leaving a lifelong memory. It is one of the reasons I love my job so much!
