TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching 10 years at the public elementary school my children, husband, and myself attended. The first 9 years I taught 1st grade however, got moved into 2nd grade this year due to class size. Don't know where I will be next year!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I integrate thematically so that instruction is relevant and is in line with how young children naturally learn. I implement a systematic, muti-leveled approach in my teaching of math, literacy (phonics, reading, & spelling) and writing. This model acknowledges that all children learn differently and provides all students with an opportunity for success
