The PowerPoint itself focuses on vocabulary which is what is stated in the overview. The creative part of the PowerPoint is in how to help your students learn what each vocabulary word and definition is. This is in the note sections that the students don't see. There are a lot of different short multiple intelligence activities for the slides. That is the part that took me much longer than 15 minutes to create.

Hi, Thanks for asking! I am currently working on the "Early Attempt to Govern Newly Independent States" lesson plan. I have the PowerPoint done but it is not up yet on TPT. I should finish that lesson plan, which uses primary source documents (common core) as the activity, this Friday. I also have a PowerPoint done for all military aspects of the Revolutionary War however, that is not up yet either because the lesson plan is not done. When would you be needing it? I could always post the PowerPoint's without the lesson plans.

It's a good way to open up the year because the students will be excited about this and hope they do more like it in future classes. I just checked and it says that it is a .doc file. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I taught in NY state for five years in grades 7,8,10, and 11 and then in GA for five years in 7th and 8th. I taught social studies and special education and was a co-teacher for ELL and science. I started the website www.hollerformastro.com which helps teachers differentiate their work sessions using multiple intelligences and leveled writing in less than 10 minutes and each activity includes a rubric.
