I like the idea. I will modify because I would like my students to work in partners only. I think this will definitely help them to practice this skill.

Its the same problem rewritten five times. DO NOT PURCHASE.

10/21/13-You are correct. However, IN MY OPINION it does not provide application practice. I thought it would be more rigorous especially for Algebra.

It is NOT the same problem written 5 times. I actually wrote it to look like the same problem to make sure my kids read word problems carefully. The words at least, more than, no more than are changed in every problem. My kids did the same thing and thought all 5 were the same. Hence why I wrote this. Kids need to learn to read each problem carefully. Your comment is unfair in that it is NOT the same problem written 5 times.

This helped my students process a difficult topic.

Caryn Loves Math (TpT Seller) re: Increasing/Decreasing Intervals Activity

Hi, I just downloaded your activity and there was only the key. What is the activity?

Kathleen Monegan (TpT Seller)

Can you send me your email? I will email it to you :)

Normally I just take off the word KEY and give it to kids and tell them to cut out all the boxes and then make a chart. I will send it to you if you send me your email.

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. Since you are new, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.

Add some clipart to add color or just color some of your font. For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do use this? What does it go with? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.

Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.

I think it is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great. I would love your input since you also teach math.
