I have found several mistakes . Superlative means comparing three or things or people using -est. Comparative uses -er. this is on week six. in the answer key number 5 has the number 3 instead.
Otherwise I love it and use it everyday. I just think you should use it because I did not see any mistakes until I actually used it.

Third Grade Daily Morning Work -
I am loving all the hard work you put into this excellent packet. I did notice as we're going through that many of the sentences have errors aside from corrections to be made from the directions (e.g. "Add commas to the following sentence: joe and sara lived in Atlanta Georgia." -needs capitals as well as commas. ) Just something to consider as you create the 1st semester pack. I can't wait to use it!

I taught this unit this week! The children learned a great deal and the activities were wonderful! I did notice a few typos on student assignment pages though. I would love to use this lesson again next year because it covered the curriculum so well. Is there anyway you could correct the errors and send me an updated copy? Hey Kathryn, I purchased the St. Patrick's Day Math Problems yesterday. I was really excited to print and use today. However, when I print the copies from the computer, it prints this checkered background making if difficult to read. Is there a way to correct the problem? I have already tried opening the file in Adobe and it still prints the same way. Please help

I purchased your unit on Quadrilaterals and overall, I am very happy with it! I did notice, though, that you use the 'exclusive' definition of trapezoid (only one pair of parallel sides), whereas common core uses the 'inclusive' definition (AT LEAST one pair of parallel sides). I was curious why you decided to go with the 'exclusive' or 'old' definition. I REALLY don't like that they changed the definition, but since Common Core and PARCC will be going by that definition in assessments, I won't be able to use the pages that refer to trapezoids as they are currently written. Since the document is in ppt, I hope that you don't mind that I edited the pages that refer to trapezoids. If you'd like, I can attach the edited document and you can see what you think. I'll be using it this week, so if I run into any other things that need to be changed in order to work for the 'new' trapezoid definition, I can let you know if you'd like.

I have taught preK for over 10 years and I think they are capable of learning so much....They all develop at different times but wow they are sponges. I would LOVE to talk about my 4 year old- I could talk about my boys all day :)
I just registered him for Kindergarten and Pre-K. His birthday is August 25 (the age cut off is Sept. 1). So, if he does not get into Pre-K he will have to begin Kindergarten as a 4 year old since he has already attended a private Pre-K and cannot go another year. Academically, he is great, but due to his maturity, I would much rather him be the "oldest" in his grade, rather than the "youngest." Any Thoughts? Thanks for your comment!!!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I began teaching in 2004. I have taught third grade reading, math, and language arts for 8 years now. I have a B.S. degree in early childhood education, a M.S. degree in curriculum and instruction, and an educational specialist degree in elementary education. I am gifted certified and have attended many professional development opportunities.

My main goal as a teacher is to ensure that my students enjoy learning and become life long learners as well as readers. I try to make coming to school exciting and fun for students and I do this by teaching students in a variety of different ways to adhere to each type of learner.
