I love the mystery feature with these activities. My children love to be dectives and figure out the code. I really like this approach to sight words. It brings some fun into what can be a sometimes frustrating process.

I love this idea for a center! Is there any way you could make this activity with intermediate lines rather than primary ones? It would great to have a space on it for the definition of the word as well!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been a classroom teacher for more than 25 years. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and substituted in 2nd. Teaching is a fabulous adventure! Also, I have been a workshop presenter at various conferences up and down the state of California.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Teaching should be meaningful, fun and student centered, with lots of hands on learning and, whenever possible, integrating curriculum. Music is an essential component to my classroom. We laugh, sing, and dance to the rhythm of learning.
