Julie has over 31 years of experience teaching special education and grades k-2 in the Minneapolis Public Schools.
These flannel board activities are very useful for reinforcing math and literacy skills. The children become actively involved when using these materials. The tunes that accompany the sets are mostly piggy back songs which are easy to learn and motivate the children. They work great in centers, and small and large groups.
Julie was recognized for her commitment and service to Early Childhood Education by Stout University, Menomonie, Wisconsin in 2010.
Julie has a degree from St. Cloud State University in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. She has certification in pre-k and kindergarten from Macalester College and has earned graduate credits from both St. Cloud and Macalester.
Julie has presented locally and nationally sharing her love of teaching and ideas. She has exhibited her products all over the United States.
