There are no duplicate words. I feel like I went through all the work of printing, cutting and laminating for nothing. Pretty useless. That being said... the idea is cute. The pictures are cute and the quality is good.

Hi Lenora...... We are changing the directions to take the phrase "match the words" out as you can play matching: characters, draw two or wild cards. You can play it this way or a lot of teachers make two sets of word cards and then it can be played matching words as well.

It is the game mat students use when you call out a word. These are found on pages 8-32. There should be enough game mats so that you can play with an entire class! Hope this helps...Let me know if you have any other questions.

Move your game directions to the second page. I noticed that every card is marked with your copyright. My class and I love your sight word uno cards. They don't even realize they're practicing words! I have a question, though. In the directions it says students can match either the design on the card or the word. Are we supposed to print two sets of the word cards so they can match the words? We've just been leaving that part of the directions out; we just match the design or draw a card. It seems to work. I was just wondering... Thanks!

I used the wrong set of directions (I will fix it)! Sometimes I have my kids match the words by finding similar sounds. It depends on the sound we are working on! Make sense?
