TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began my teaching career in third grade ELA. After that I spent a year teaching first grade self-contained before moving to a different school. At the new school I had the privilege of coordinating a volunteer-based reading intervention program for 1st-through-5th-graders.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My students get hands-on activities whenever possible! We make anchor charts, foldables, and cloze activities. I love workshop and small-group instruction.
