TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught high school mathematics for 7 years. The specific courses are: Algebra I, Algebra II, Algebra II Advanced, Algebra III, and Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry. I have been teaching college mathematics for the last 3 years. The specific courses are: PreAlgebra I, PreAlgebra II, College Algebra I, College Algebra II, Intermediate Algebra, College Mathematics, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I want my students to understand how mathematics is used outside of the classroom. I accomplish this by relating mathematics history, using newspaper articles, or showing how mathematics is used in real occupations.
