Hi, Kelli! I love the Roll and Read Digraph Fluency Phrases pack I bought and I've already left feedback (4s) after looking through it. I've just gone to print out the ng page, though, and noticed that it says, "diphthong /ng/". Unless I'm mistaken, diphthongs are two adjacent vowel sounds, so /ng/ is not a diphthong. I'm sure it's a typo, so I thought I'd let you know. If you agree and have time to re-upload it, let me know so I can update my version, too. :)

Hey love2teachsped! To open with Adobe in a Mac, make sure Adobe is on your dock at the bottom. To do that, open Applications and then drag Adobe to the dock. Then, go to your downloads folder and drag the PDF on top of the Adobe icon at the bottom! I hope this helps!!!

Hi Rachel,
The cowgirl graphic has boots on and stands for what kicks off the story. I do not have a boot graphic, so I used the cowgirl. I included the graphics if people preferred to make a Retelling Rope with the paper graphics instead of the wooden pieces, which I got at Hobby Lobby.
I made one Retelling Rope for whole group instruction and my kiddos use it during Reas to Someone as well.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I teach first grade and LOVE it! My seven years of teaching have all been in first grade and Kindergarten! I just LOVE the little ones! I taught first grade my first year, Kindergarten for four years, and I looped with my sweet Kindergartners to bring me back to first grade in 2010.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I believe young learners learn best through hands on, real life experiences, and PLAY! I love teaching through children's literature, thematic units and connecting activities across the curriculum. Learning should be interactive and FUN for our sweet little ones! :)
