We told the kids that "any number ten or greater has to ride the elevator. Down go the ones and up go the tens and add them all together to get to the end!" This was because it looked like a little elevator. To help them remember to add all three digits in tens column, we said don't forget the new number who rode the elevator to the roof party, he wants to be added in! HA!

Thank you for your interest in my alphabet worksheets. I am not able to put all of the letter packets in one file. With 5 worksheets per letter, there would be 130 worksheets. One file cannot support that many worksheets. This is the reason that I started selling each set of worksheets individually. I know that it is inconvenient to have to download each set. I do appreciate your business. :)

I answered your question a few minutes ago. I'm not sure what happened! When I came back to edit my answer, it was gone. I'm not sure if you received my first answer. I am not able to put all of the letter packets in one file. With 5 worksheets for each letter, there would be 130 worksheets. One file cannot support that many worksheets. This is the reason that I started selling each set of worksheets individually. I have been trying to figure out a reasonable price for these packets. I recently increased the price. Your question has me reconsidering the increased price. I am going to reduce the price to 55 cents per packet. This would bring the total price to $12.65 for the whole alphabet. These are worksheets that you will be able to use year after year. My feedback on these worksheets has been very positive. I know that many teachers are using these worksheets for morning work and homework. I hope that you find this price reduction to be fair. I'm sorry for any confusion if you did receive my first reply. Thanks Again,

Thank you for showing an interest in my units on the Aztec, the Maya, and the Inca. I tried to give a full explanation of what you would be receiving upon purchasing these units. You will get everything that you need to teach and assess your students knowledge on these ancient civilations. One suggestion that I have is that you could purchase one unit to see how you like it before purchasing the other units. Thanks again for your interest.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been a substitute teacher for the past 8 years at the elementary level. I have done several long term assignments. These long term assignments have been in Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade,Fifth Grade and in a Sub Seperate Special Needs Classroom / Grades 3, 4 and 5.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I feel that it is important to keep the children engaged. I always try to relate the topic area to everyday experiences in order to keep the children's attention. I have found that children enjoy talking about their own experiences as well. They always want to share!! Being a substitute teacher, I try to always focus on the postive. I let the children know my expectations in the beginning of the day. From there, we will take breaks as needed to discuss making good choices vs. making bad choices. I let the children know that if they make good choices in life, good things will happen. I usually try to leave a few minutes at the end of the day to play a game with the children who made good choices throughout the day!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Accounting.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I worked as an accountant for four years and then I had my first son. My son was born prematurely with special needs. I needed to take several years off from work to take care of him. Seven years later, I had my second son. When my second son went to school and with my first son in an excellent special needs program, I needed to find a job with mother's hours. I decided to try substitute teaching. Eight years later, I'm still subbing. I love my job! It is so rewarding to me when the children see me and they are excited that I am going to be their teacher for the day. I started making my own worksheets. In a pinch, I like to be prepared. Teachers that I have subbed for really seem to like my worksheets. I hope that you do too!
